Farm Dream Sourdough Starter
Farm Dream Sourdough Starter! Active, bubbly, and ready to use when she arrives on your doorstep. This starter culture is over 25 years old, and actually survived Hurricane Katrina! Rumor has it, as one of her first bakers was wading through knee deep water while evacuating her home, she suddenly stopped and turned around to save one of her most prized possessions- her sourdough starter. This starter was generously shared with me by the mother of a friend of mine, and now it's time to share her with you all! Warm, springy sourdough bread is in your near future!
When she arrives on your doorstep, feed your Farm Dream Sourdough Starter by mixing the contents of the package with 200g of purified water, and 200g of unbleached, organic flour. If you aren't able to immediately feed your starter, store her in the refridgerator until you can! Watch our instruction video here.
